Sent crypto on the wrong network
You sent tokens to the right address but on the wrong blockchain network.
Recovery steps
Don't panic
Your funds may be recoverable depending on the wallet and network involved.
Check if the recipient wallet supports both networks
If the destination wallet supports the network you sent on, you may be able to access the funds by switching networks.
For exchange deposits: contact support immediately
If you sent to an exchange on the wrong network, contact their support team. Many major exchanges can recover funds on supported networks, though recovery fees may apply.
For self-custody wallets: try adding the network
If you control the destination wallet, try adding the network you accidentally sent on. Your funds may appear.
Document everything
Save transaction hashes, screenshots, and all communication. This will help with recovery attempts.
Accept that some situations may be unrecoverable
If the destination doesn't support the network and you don't control the keys, recovery may not be possible.
